Their college project not only turned into an award-winning success, it became the start of the We Were Here series.
After 14 weeks of work, they put together a first-person puzzle game called We Were Here that they released on Steam for free in 2017.įlash forward to 2022, and the team has grown into a successful indie studio. The team started out as a group of university students who built a game for a class project. They may be the only students whose teachers have advised them to drop out of college because they were too good at what they were learning. The story of Total Mayhem Games, the developer of the month in this edition of the HyperX Indie Highlight, is an unconventional one.
