The mixture of Victims & Killer actors was terrific. It was an absolutely gorgeous spring night too, had it been raining the queueing would have been unbearable! And happily this maze totally redeemed itself. Here for entertainment they had an awesome DJ playing. Friends without a fast track pass waited an hour. Here again SO relieved to get a Fast Track ticket!! The queue for this one, and the maze opposite (The Evil Within) was just plain crazy long.
Left that one thinking if this is the calibre of the mazes, I want my money back. Not sure how it got people's choice? It was built in half the Scooby Doo entrance hall, there was not much detail in the mazes, they were relying on the surprise factor from the actors. Hate to say it, whilst the actors costumes & make up were fab it was very average. So we forked out the $50 (it would have been $45 had we the forethought of pre-purchasing online) and got our Lanyard. This happened a LOT as even the fast track queue had a queue!! After doing the maze (which was ok, great effort on the part of the actors, jumping out & trying to scare maze goers) we realised we'd never get to see all four without a fast track pass. Maddingly we saw those with Fast Track passes get to the front of the queue & go in before the rest of us. To the parks credit they got their roving actors to entertain us whilst we queued. Decided to skip that and dashed to The Ripper maze, queue was slightly less ridiculous. Dashed to the first maze, as fast as the crowds would allow, the Clown one and the queue was already ridiculous. Fabulous opening production from the actors, from what we could see - as it was hard to see if you weren't right at the front. Actually, insanely busy is how to describe it!!! We arrived on time, and waited for the show to begin.
